Tell us a little about your interest and history with cars and open source. There are no wrong answers, so feel no pressure!

I've always loved toys that are big enough to ride. Motorcycles and Aircraft are my favorites but I have also converted one car and 3 two wheeled vehicles to battery electric. Power electronics and microcontrollers facinate me and I have lots of experience with these though I'm not great with writing programing. I have many friends in the electric auto community. I want to see what the next big thing is so I'm looking forward to this connection.

Richard Jesch is a controls and power systems integrator who has electric vehicle experience. His primary interests are in battery system development with an eye on reliability end efficiency in high power systems. Robotics and automation
