Title: Jaguar Land Rover's Experiences in Moving to Linux-Based IVI

Matt Jones
Senior Technical Specialist at Jaguar Land Rover
& Infotainment / Vice President at GENIVI

Abstract: Throughout its history, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has incorporated the values of British automotive design with performance and leading technology. It comes as no surprise that the company is now looking to Linux and open source to help raise-the-bar for in-vehicle infotainment. Full-featured entertainment networks, connected navigation, apps and app stores are only a few of the items on the wish lists of today's car buyers, and who knows what "killer features" will be needed in 2014 and beyond.

Join Matt Jones as he discusses the benefits and challenges of moving a growing organization into a completely new way of working - open collaboration. Learn how JLR is building a flexible platform based on Linux and open source today that will be able to meet the demands of car buyers tomorrow.
