We will also cover the topic of Design for the Digital World and Design for Compliance / Reimbursement in the context of a medical device. The presenter (Martin Vazquez) has 25+ years of progressive, cross-functional leadership experience in operations, product development, and quality assurance of class I-III medical devices. Martin currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Outset Medical. Outset Medical is a pioneering medical technology company dedicated to the advancement of human-centered and cost-efficient dialysis treatment technologies.
Martín has 25+ years of progressive, cross-functional leadership experience in operations, product development, and quality assurance of class I-III medical devices. Prior to Outset, Martín was VP of North America Operations and Global S&OP at Abbott Rapid Dx (formerly Alere). He brings a solid track record in operations strategy planning and execution, quality and product engineering in companies with highly regulated supply networks including Becton Dickinson, CareFusion, Smiths Medical, Greatbatch, Alcon, and Ethicon (J&J).
