Each entrepreneur will pitch for five minutes, followed by five minutes of Q & A from the investor panel.

There will be five pitchers participating. There will be prizes awarded to the top pitcher and the runner up.

There will also be door prizes given out to some lucky attendees.

While there will be some food and refreshments available courtesy of our sponsors, attendees are asked to bring food and drinks to share -- in the spirit of community, collaboration, and crowd sourcing.  : - )

Chris Yeh  is a Co-Founder, Managing Partner and General Partner at Wasabi Ventures, LLC.  Chris  serves as Advisor of SquareOne Mail, Inc. , as a Senior Advisor of Test Soup and as the Chief Executive Officer of TargetFirst Inc. 

He serves as Vice President of Marketing at Coceve Inc. (alternate name PBwiki, Inc.) and served as its Vice President of Enterprise Marketing. He has been building Internet businesses since 1995. He is a founder, founding employee, or seed investor in almost a dozen startups, including PBwiki, Inc., United Online Services and Merrill Lynch’s Intelligent Technologies Group. He advises a wide array of startups ranging from network equipment makers to vertical search engines including Ustream and PBworks. He served as Vice President of Enterprise Marketing at PBworks.

 Chris is a much-quoted thought leader in the field of marketing and entrepreneurship; his research and publications have been incorporated into the Harvard Business School curriculum, while his projects have received press coverage in Fortune, the Financial Times, SmartMoney and the New York Times.


Chris  writes a monthly column on entrepreneurship for SitePoint, and has written over 25 other articles on entrepreneurship, marketing, and sales for publications such as ClickZ. He writes a popular blog on entrepreneurship and venture capital, Adventures in Capitalism and contributes to blogs such as TechCrunch and VentureBeat. 

Chris  holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School where he was named a Baker Scholar (High Distinction) and two degrees from Stanford University.

Yasemin Besik currently heads up Marketing, Editorial and Partnerships for Yahoo Developer Network and she also serves on the Selection Committee for Harvard Angels. Prior to Yahoo, she held executive positions in a diverse group of technology companies ranging from enterprise software to social gaming.

Matt Bornstein is an Associate at Blumberg Capital, where he invests in early-stage VC companies across IT sectors.  Matt’s areas of focus include data analytics, IT infrastructure, horizontal Internet technology, and B2B SaaS.

Prior to joining Blumberg, Matt worked with Correlation Ventures, a quantitative venture capital firm, and Greycroft Partners, a digital media VC.  Matt is also the founder of two technology companies in the enterprise software and tech-enabled services sectors.  Other experience includes new product development at LinkedIn and strategy consulting with the Monitor Group.

Matt earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BS in mathematics from Brown University.  He lives and works in San Francisco and hails originally from Boston.

Monali Jain is an active angel investor focused on software, mobile and cloud technologies. She is currently active member of Kiretsu Forum and Tie Angel groups. She has 17 years of experience in developing and launching highly scalable, highly profitable internet software products and services. She held leadership positions at Paypal, eBay, Interwoven, Good Technology and GE with global responsibilities. 

Monali also loves to travel and have visited 18 countries. Recently she successfully climbed tallest mountain in Africa, Kilimanjaro all the way to the top in first attempt. Her hobbies include hang gliding and Indian classical dance. She has completed Bachelor in Engineering from University of Mumbai, India and MBA from Santa Clara University, USA. She has also completed executive education program from Harvard Business School, USA

Joseph Gilby is a former executive from the games industry, in both core and casual genres. Joseph currently serves as Director for the International Game Developers Association / Silicon Valley chapter and is on the Software Screening Committee for the Keiretsu Forum angel group. Joseph is an advisor for Vipani, a methodology incubated at Stanford that has demonstrated the ability to transform subsistence farming through building trust networks.
