At this event,  our speakers will discuss  the blurring of the lines between enterprise and service provider networks and how they will extend the "edge" of the mobile network from the operator's core into the enterprise premise. The shift to a mobilized enterprise fundamentally transforms the enterprise IT infrastructure from 80% Capex to 80% Opex over the coming 3-5 years which includes the increased use of managed applications and cloud services, as well as managed mobility and wireless.
Studies by Exact Ventures indicate that there is  a $100 billion emerging market opportunity for mobile operators providing mobility services for enterprise customers. The research indicates that enterprise customers could save up to 35% a year by adopting such operator-delivered managed and hosted services.

At this meetup event,  the speakers and audience will:

1)  Explore infrastructure and services implications for Enterprise IT, vendors and Operators.

2) Review research and findings when it comes to Opex vs Capex cost for per-employee/month for: Wi-Fi, PBX integration, broadcast alerts and offers, location and context-aware services.
