A distinguished investor panel will discuss the latest trends in startup funding. Pre-selected entrepreneurs in the formal line up will then pitch to our investor panel, followed by questions and feedback from the panel.

Audience members (even those who are not pitching in the formal line up) will benefit from the insights offered by the investor panelists . All attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the Silicon Valley startup investment ecosystem. All attendees will have an opportunity to interact with investor panelists during the networking portions of the event.

Joe Jasin, DNA Partners

Joe Jasin is Managing Director of DNA Partners, LLC, an early stage venture capital investment firm. DNA invests in digital media value chain technology companies based in the U.S. and China. Joe spends about 20 to 30 percent of his time in China. Joe has over 20 years of experience in a career that spans globally in the mobile/wireless and digital media industries, having establishing a robust cross border presence in the U.S. and throughout Asia.

Carol Mao, Fusion Fund

Carol Mao is vice president at Fusion Fund, a Palo Alto-based early stage fund that invests in disruptive technologies. Carol has extensive experience in U.S. and Asian capital markets. Prior to joining Fusion Fund, she was a senior Investment Banking Associate at Deutsche Bank and CITIC Securities International for over five years.

Andre Gueziec, Angel Investor

André Gueziec is an angel investor and advisor to selected technology companies. His sweet spot is to be a catalyst in early stage opportunities where it also makes sense for him to actively participate in an advisory role. He has published forty peer-reviewed papers, journal articles and book chapters and is an inventor of about 35 U.S Patents. He also wrote a book entitled “You can be a Silicon Valley Success”.

Roger Rappoport, Angel Investor

Roger Rappoport is an independent angel investor. Roger makes six to seven personal investments per year. Roger's day job is a corporate attorney at Procopio in Palo Alto. As a partner and head of the Procopio's Emerging Growth and Technology division, Roger oversees hundreds of funding rounds and acquisitions. Roger has advised many startups on multi-million funding rounds and M&A transactions.

Before attending law school and becoming an attorney, he was the founder of a technology company that generated $10 million in revenue.
