In case you haven't discovered it yet, the cable for the speaker IS in a small pouch at the bottom of the pouch that contains the speaker. After removing the speaker turn the pouch inside-out to get access to the smaller pouch inside.

I know there is a BlackBerry Jam America Conference happening in Orlando, is there one happening in Bay Area as well?

If you are planning to attend BlackBerry Hackathon at BlackBerry Jam America Conference or BlackBerry Casual Hackathon in May, you should attend this meeting. We will be revealing many details to speed up your app development, app release, and approval process. As of now there aren't any published books from major publishers on BlackBerry 10 SDK.
BlackBerry Hackathon is one of the best Hackathons organized by mobile makers - Full of prizes to motivate you.

I realize this is an HTML5 meetup, but I can also talk to our Android Runtime (port apps in under 60 seconds) -- if people are interested (I noticed a number of members of this group are also members of some of the Android meetups as well). Bring your apk; if we have time, I'll show you what it looks like on BB10 (or at least identify what needs to be changed for it to work). About 65% of all apps on Google Play will run without modification.

Looking forward to tomorrow's meetup? I am!! Hope to see you all there. I'll demo BlackBerry 10 [hint: it's freak'n awesome], give an quick overview or our whole developer platform, and then dig in with a bit more detail on our HTML5 stuff. I'll show you how to build a HelloWorld app in just a few minutes that also prints out your current GPS position (a little more useful than just "Hello" right?). I'll answer questions, give a way a PlayBook, talk about our upcoming events, and hopefully have some swag to offer too.
