Speaker: Sandy Rivas, Program Manager for Power View at Microsoft
Not every business has perfectly structured data. But with managed self-service business intelligence, you can now create rich, powerful analytic solutions that let you glean and share business insights from that data.
This walk-through session will focus on using a variety of features from Power View to analyze Excel data from an actual small business. We’ll step through Power View to produce beautiful visualizations and deep exploration functionality to show how business decisions were made. Then we’ll use PowerPivot to enhance the analytic possibilities with calculated fields and KPIs. Next we enrich the existing data by adding additional information from outside sources, and finish by sharing our solution for analysis by others who may not have Excel 2013.
Whether you’re an IT pro or business user and whatever your data’s structure, after this session, you’ll be inspired to use your own data with Power View to explore and gain insights with interactive visualizations.
