Please tell us a little bit about your experience with collage art.

I started learning about collage with Rosemary Luckett at the Torpedo Factory several years ago. Collage is intriguing because of the unexpected combinations and juxtapositions. Anything you can glue to paper is fair game, although I usually use just paper that I've painted myself or found. My work is abstract rather than representational, and I often combine paper collage with acrylic paint.

Hi -- I'm a painter, collage artist and sculptor of works from found objects. I've been a member of the Foundry Gallery in DC since 2005, and have had three solo shows there. My work can be seen on my website,m.
