At Singapore Free Meditation, we aim to be inclusive and embracing of all the various meditation techniques available in the market. Tomorrow evening (10th May), we are delighted to explore something the group has never tried before; Pyramid Meditation.
Navneet, a certified Meditation facilitator from the Pyramid Spiritual Sciences Academy, India will be leading the session. She is a firm believer in holistic health and encourages meditation as a tool to achieve balance in all aspects of health including physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects. She has been facilitating group Pyramid Meditation sessions in Singapore since 2011, after experiencing numerous benefits herself. Below is a brief explanation of Pyramid Meditation provided by her:
"Meditation done inside a pyramid or underneath a pyramid is referred to as Pyramid Meditation.
Meditation is silencing the ongoing chatter of the restless mind. By directing one's total attention and awareness only on one's normal, natural breathing process, the mind becomes one with the breath. If the mind is not with the breath, it does not become relaxed.
Our belief is that pyramids are one of the most stable structures which receive the highest amount of cosmic energy on Earth. Pyramids designed to their golden angle of inclination of 51 degrees 51 minutes and cardinal directions alignment are observed to receive the highest Cosmic Energy. To us, meditation done inside a pyramid is three times more powerful than ordinary meditation.
Through our session on Tuesday evening, you will have the opportunity to allow your stray thoughts to be silenced as we focus on observing our natural breath. The pyramids will provide an effective high-energy environment helping to reduce the level of tension in the physical body and to experience deeper states of meditation."
