Hey Meditators,

It has been several months since our last FREE meditation buffet. We are bringing back our ‘SINGAPORE FREE MEDITATION’, and this time, we are very fortunate to have a former Wall Street bond trader share with us her personal practice of OSHO Kundalini Meditation.

Originally from Singapore, Serena spent a decade in New York. After years of working in Wall Street and climbing up to the position of Senior Vice-President of a private equity firm, she drastically changed her life. She spent the following years scuba diving, immersing into her love for the deep blue sea. In the process of breathing underwater and maneuvering currents – she discovered snippets of insights to her existential quest. Her biggest turning point was discovering OSHO. Thereon, she began her daily meditation practice and became a certified OSHO International Foundation facilitator. She loves sharing OSHO Active meditation because of the effectiveness of its dialectical method – utilizing the polarity of active effort, one finds the stillness of being within.

OSHO Kundalini Meditation is the “sister” meditation to the OSHO Dynamic. It is best done in the early evening and has several stages throughout the hour. After being fully immersed in the shaking and dancing in the first two stages, our rigidity begins to “melt”. So wherever energy has been repressed or blocked, is now allowed to flow with the dance and be transformed into bliss. The last two stages sets this energy flowing vertically upwards into silence. It is a highly effective way of unwinding and letting go at the end of the day.

Unlike traditional methods, the purpose of this meditation is to impart a dance to the Kundalini energy within, to allow its natural flow so that it be transformed into a joyful celebration. When the energy begins moving, we will stop and remain in stillness - finding silence and peace within.
