During the earlier talk on the "trade war", I had given an extensive background on the initiation of the "trade war" by the US Administration under the "America First" policy.
In this follow-up talk, I will continue to touch on the remaining parts, that's on the four main technology sectors for the electronic industry in China that are being targeted in the "trade war" and would the Chinese firms survive the attacks, and emerge ever stronger to maintain as the world top exporters of notebook PCs and smartphones.
The four main technology sectors are:
- As a key player to establish the 5G mobile network standards and major suppliers in the testing and rolling out of the 5G mobile network to ISPs.
- To develop alternative operating system for mobile devices and establish alternative apps store to support this new OS.
- To develop alternative electronic chipsets for mobile devices and to be self reliance on the chipsets.
- As key player on robotic development, manufacturing and applications.
