Ubuntu 18.04 can run “live” from a DVD.
It has a free Office Suite and other essential software pre-built and included. It can also be installed onto your PC in one of the following ways:

1. Fully installed onto a thumb drive with a minimum of 16GB free space with dual boot

2. Onto a separate partition of your PC alongside Windows with dual boot

3. Erase Windows and use the entire hard disk of your PC

Bring along your laptop with DVD Drive and a 16GB or higher thumb drive with high speed (Preferably 15X or extreme pro version).

Computer Doctor John Yap will walk everyone simultaneously step by step hands-on from the beginning until you have Ubuntu safely installed and working on your laptop.

Finally he will show you how to install additional software. For example TeamViewer, Google Chrome, VLC and so on.

About the speaker :-
Mr John Yap was the President of Singapore Microcomputer Society for many years. He was also Chairman of the Windows SIG for just as long. During his time at SMS, he taught many about the Windows OS and the various software and troubleshooting methods. He is also the manager of his own IT company called CompuDoc.
