You have heard of Nordic Walking but couldn't imagine yourself carrying 2 hiking poles? You were a Nordic Walker in your home country and wish to walk with other Nordic Walkers? You have knee pains and is gaining weight with less exercise? This is a group for anyone wanting to exercise more then just in their legs; burn calories in their arms & shoulders; have knee pains; are now avoiding steps and slopes; wish to have better posture to breath better; wish to get away from hustle & bustle of the city.
In this city, we will be known as Urban Trekkers. Learning with me you will learn how to adapt to the Urban Terrain of up & down steps & slopes.
I started this group to share my experience when I used to be so slow in hiking groups that i was always informed to turn back during the hike. I also have knee pains which hurts on steps & any level of slope. I also could not loose weight due to lack of exercise (knee pains). Nordic Walking / Urban Trekking changed all this & changed my outlook to a healthy life, giving me more energy to cope with daily life challenges.
