Hometown: Portland OR

This is a hard question. Being a long term beer drinker who has had a deep passion and respect for all kinds of beers, I will say I cannot answer that. However, a few beers that I have become so deeply fond of would be "True European IPAs", Whiskey barrel aged ales, Imperial Stouts, Porters, Scotch Ales, "Belgian Abbey and White Ales from Belgium" (Not American Ones). I grew up in Oregon, so I love the Oregon breweries! Deschutes is an all time favorite, but I also love Rogue. If I was to list European breweries, well the list would overload my brain and the word limit. However, St Bernardus (pardon spelling) comes to mind as a real knockout beer. If I was to pick one American brewery that stands out from the rest, it would be Dogfish Head. Yes, being an Oregonian, how can I love a brewery from Delaware of all places?
Well, I do like Pike's Brewery. I am brand new to town, so forgive me, I don't really know the places yet.
I've made some great beer many years ago. But as of now, I have neither the time or patience to do it.
I have lived over 20 years of my life in Oregon. When I am not drinking beer, I am drinking a nice glass of Scotch or Irish whiskey. And when I am not diong that, I like to go out in the woods and hike or work out in my home gym; that is, if I am not glued to the machine working.
I am 34-year old, beer-loving, software developer who has recently moved to the Seattle area.
