What we're about
This group is for single Christians in their 30s and 40s (see below for more on our age range) who’d like to meet other single Christians from across Bristol and beyond. It's a closed site, so only members can see the photos & profiles of other members. Filling in your profile is a great way to introduce yourself to members.
Do join us, bring along your single friends, and help make it a fun community. We hold a monthly Friday night drinks in different pubs around Bristol. Other regular activities planned include midweek socials and weekend lunch and walks. Festivals, galleries, cinema trips, talks (such as the Ideas Festival and Wilderness Lectures), and some energetic activities like quad biking, ceilidhs and bowling are also likely to feature, depending on interest.
We'll mix up the events and venues to help you get to know some new places and try new things. We're a fairly new group and we've got lots of ideas - do send us yours.
Meetup charges a fee to use their platform so to keep the group self-supporting there is a £1 suggested donation per person per event.
This group may be for you if you identify yourself as a Christian, you're not in a relationship and you’re aged 30-49 (please respect our intention to create an age specific group).
Some may wonder why there's an age range. It's simply because most people are looking to meet someone around their own age, and we've found that many, particularly those in their 30s, find all age singles groups overwhelming. If you're outside our group range you may be interested in K2, an all-age group in Bristol, www.k2bristol.org.uk (http://www.k2bristol.org.uk/). Or perhaps you feel inspired to start your own meetup. Check out meetup's help sections for more on this.
