My most popular activity.... TUBING is the perfect way to soak up the sun, laugh with your family and friends, and cool off on a hot, summer day!
Nothing like enjoying the summer fully by laying on a tube, going down the river, away from the city, having a blast with bunch of meetup group people!
Location is only 1/4 mile from the river which means more river time! Your tubing pass is good all day here for as many runs as you desire within our scheduled hours of operation. Shuttles run continuously every day, so our guests can enjoy more river time. Go once, twice, or go for the record of six trips in one day!
***2 options to pay for this event:
1. You can call and make your reservation and ask for Whitewater Tubing. Don't forget to ask for their cancellation and refund policy (i.e., is it refundable if it rains? etc...)
If you decided to make a reservation, don't forget to download the release form. Fill it out and bring it with you. Another way to save time.
2. Get there early and pay on the spot.
Let's meet between 9am-9:30am there, be checked in at that time, so we can all take the same shuttle. Weekend shuttles leave approximately every half hour starting at 9:30am.
Want to carpool? Post on your RSVP whether you're a driver or needs a ride and we'll try to arrange it. Technically, alcohol is not allowed, however if you can bring your own cooler and nothing is ever checked -- just don't litter, act like a retard, etc, and it won't be a problem. There should be absolutely no glass of any kind contained within any cooler.
Don't forget to bring your water shoes and also bring plenty of water and some snacks!
and last but not the least.....anything that you take with you, WILL get wet!! (a change of clothes for the car ride back will be helpful)
From their website:
Want some excitement on your tubing trip? Brave the Needles Class I-II (beginner) rapids on the Potomac River (the ‘Mac) as you master how to stay upright on your tube!
The White Water Tubing trip passes by the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. You will also travel through the confluence of 2 rivers (the 'Doah and ‘Mac) and three states (Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia)
All trips include: a tube, PFD (Personal Flotation Device), shuttle to and from the river, and parking.
Children must be at least 12 years old, 5 ft tall, and be accompanied by an adult. Age and height requirements may vary due to river conditions.
All tubing participants must know how to swim!
Have your own tube? We provide shuttle service and life jacket rental (required by the Division of Natural Resources).
