This is a dinner/dance and is more for the 45+ year-old single (or not).
Dinner is Buffet Style and includes Coffee and Dessert.
The venue is a Banquet Hall called TPA Banquet Hall.
Located at the DVP and 401 (180 Yorkland Blvd.)
Time: must be there by 7:15pm or table reservation might be lost. (you can still come but might have to find your own seat somewhere with the friendly welcoming crowd.)
(doors open at 7:00pm)
Cost $13.00 paid to the receptionist at time of arrival.
We can certainly talk all about cruising while socializing at the Table of 8 that I have reserved. There might be over 100 people of all ethnicities and walks of life, but most over the age of 45.
I’ve been to some of the regular “dances” (no dinners at these dances) that are hosted at this venue weekly and found it be a super mix of people in a very friendly environment. The music type, in my experience, has been non-rock, non-pop, non-club, but closer to 50s, 60s or that which is geared to the older crowd. Dress is smart, not casual. Wear red as this is a pre-Valentines event of sorts.
There is a bar. Beer is around $4.50. (That’s all that I recall as I have only bought that when I was there.)
Stick around for as long you like. If it’s not for you, no problem.
