S 48th St & E Guadalupe Rd, Phoenix, AZ
This will be a moderate hike about 2-3 miles, hike 4 hills, then a easy wide trail coming back. (about 1 1/2 hours total). A very scenic hike with moderate ups and downs along the way. The views of the Phoenix valley are spectacular. Meetup at the trail head covered Ramada area at 9 am Sunday Dec. 4th.

I-10 doesn’t connect with Guadalupe, so you can also enter on So. 48th St, South from Baseline or North from Elliot. But 48th street runs crazy, and you can wind up at Robber's Roost or a high end resort.
The best way to enter the park is going west on Guadalupe.
Go as far as you can on Guadalupe, over i-10, and take the 1st left off of Guadalupe, then the 1st right (2 blocks) then the 1st left, about 200 feet, and you'll come to the park entrance between the golf course. Sorry there is such poor signs.
What to bring: water, hat, sunscreen, camera.
What to expect: Bathrooms and water at the trailhead, great views of the city.
