We are not a Wiccan group. We like witchy stuff, like dressing up and witchy themed things. If you're looking for a coven, this is not the group. We are a group of inclusiveness, diversity, kindness, love, gay-friendly, anti-hate, tolerant; you get the drift. We are all religions and no-religions. We range from atheist (with no belief in anything super-natural), to Buddhist (essentially a more thoughtful atheist), to Wiccan (belief in some super-natural ideas), and probably a few places in-between.
We began as a group devoted to learning and sharing the Wolfshager Hexenbrut dance (see below). We have since evolved into something much more.
While there may still be occasions that we dance, our focus is more of a social nature with witchy-themed outings, crafts, tea parties, movie nights, etc. Some of our past meetups include book making, tamale making, knitting, tea parties, and more.
Our goal is to create a beautiful, intimate, & safe environment, for women, to explore their creativity and femininity.
We'll be going to Deer Park Monastery in Escondido for this event. No witch attire this time, since it's a real Buddhist thing. Please check the link below for details. If you would like to carpool, please meet at my house at 25812 Harzburg Rd. in Menifee at 8:00 am. Holly has kindly offered to drive. Or you can meet us at the monastery at 9:15.
The San Diego Drum Circle meets in Fallbrook once per month. I generally do not attend. Please verify all info on their Meetup page. I would suggest RSVP'ing here, and on San Diego Drum Circle's page. There may be a donation request.
Let's dance and cackle around the 🔥 fire!
After a bit of discussion, the general consensus seems to be that we do not want to lose the dancing aspect of our group. This is your opportunity to put your money where your mouth is! If you are unable to dance please come anyway and cheer us on. After dancing we will sit around the fire pit and practice our cackling and eat and talk and have a great time. Please bring a snack to share.
Witches love herbs, right? Witch garb optional. It may be a little warm for full costume since it’s mostly outdoors, so maybe just hats or horns would be best. Check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1020311658178479/?ti=icl
We’ll meet at my house at 9:30 to carpool, or you can meet us at the entrance at 10:30. Let me know if you can be a driver! Thanks!
