Save the Date for the next Chicago Sitefinity User Group!

Hi Everyone,

Please save the date for the next Chicago Sitefinity User Group Meeting on Thursday, August 28th from 6:30pm-9:30pm.


6:30pm - 7:00 – Arrival 

7:00 - 8:00 - Introductions / "Creating Sortable, Groupable, and Random Custom Banners in Sitefinity 7" presented by Alex Hawley, Developer from 

8:00 - 8:15 -  Break / Intermission

8:15 – 9:15 - "Project Implementation Process" presented by Matt Annes, Sitefinity Enthusiast from

9:15 - 9:30 - Final questions/Wrap up

The purpose of the User Group is to allow Sitefinity User's to come together and share their experiences with others. 

If there any additional topics you would like to discuss please let us know or feel free to mention them on the 28th. 

The agenda is flexible to accommodate attendee participation.

**FYI you will be required to sign in when arriving, so please bring an ID*

    Alex Hawley did a great job showing us the steps and know-how on setting up a banners tool within sitefinity and the pros/cons of the multiple "possible" ways of doing it. Matt Annes also did a great job on walking the audience through a real life project from a project management perspective and how to handle proper communication and expectations of design, functionality and presentation.

    I am curious as to how others handle needing multiple sites using Sitefinity. We are using multiple instances for like 6 sites, all within the same domain by the way, and I am just wondering how others are handling this if they have the same situation
