Consistently a SCWDC favorite, Vail is a massive, 5,289-acre ski mountain, featuring 3,450 vertical feet, and fueled by an average annual snowfall of 366 inches. Vail also offers the most advanced lift system (not to mention the largest number of high-speed detachable lifts --31) in Colorado.
One reason for Vail’s enormous success is its vast variety of terrain suited for all skier ability levels --from the 193 long, groomed trails to the boundless back bowls where intermediate and expert skiers frolic on a great powder day. Terrain is 18% beginner, 29% intermediate, and 53% advanced/expert.
The Vail Village is a charming and diverse, alpine-style pedestrian village whose twin centers are seamlessly linked with swift, free buses. Nightlife abounds with music, fun, and 110 restaurants and bars for all tastes. The village also features dozens of shops, boutiques, and galleries.
Located in Vail’s Lionshead area, the Vail Spa Condos, offer an array of amenities that include indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs, steam and dry saunas, fitness center and private changing rooms with lockers. Just steps away you are in the heart of Vail Village, and most importantly, the Eagle Bahn Gondola. Each unit is outfitted with a fully-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, entertainment center and free wireless internet access.
