I'd like to do Baldy again, it was a lot of fun last time, it should be the same again.
Event Type: S5 - S6
Duration: 8 hours + driving
Difficulty Rating: Difficult
Who's Invited: Members only, No Beginners.
Distance: 12 kms
Elevation Gain: 1100 m
This will be a long day so all participants must bring 3L - 4L of water, and don't forget to bring more snacks/food then usual. Please note that since this is a difficult trip I'll check hiking history and might be touching base with you.
Note you will need to be in good shape to complete this event as the elevation gain is just under ... well, a lot!
So, we'll walk at a steady pace with limited breaks!
ONLY THOSE WHO ANSWER THE RSVP QUESTIONS WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE HIKE. Organizers have the authority to decide who is allowed on their trip based on your profile and hiking history. Please ensure your profile is up to date. I'll not proceed in order!
I'll limit this trip to a short number of persons!
For safety reason (mainly rock exposure) and because it is a loop, we'll keep the group together. Not willing to separate the group!
