Take HWY 22 down to HWY 3, Go West on HWY 3. Drive 10.5km North of Hwy 3 on the Alison Creek road (keep right at fork), find parking area on east side of road.
Distance: 13 KM (roughly)
Elevation gain: 1100 Meters

Technical Difficulty: Class 3:
Class 3 = Scrambling with increased exposure (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glossary_of_climbing_terms#E). Handholds are necessary.
Physical Difficulty: Above average level of fitness is required to participate on this event.
Estimated trip time (Car to car): 6-8 hours. Be prepared for longer we are in the Canadian Rockies
Sturdy mountain footwear, helmet, ice axe, icers, warm clothes and gloves, shell jacket, pants and gloves, food and water, headlamp, personal first aid kit.
NO COTTON CLOTHES OR GEAR.
Camera, gaiters, sunglasses, sun screen, bug spray, trekking poles, .
Varying types of insects, rock fall, exposure, snow or ice, high winds.

Waivers: As per the new policy for waivers; I will bring the group waiver form with me to both the Calgary Meetup location and the trailhead. You must sign it before you will be allowed to go on this hike. You will also be asked to provide the name and phone number of an emergency contact. You are fully aware that organizers are not professional guides and you assume all responsibility for your safety and well-being. You are fully prepared with proper gear and you're physically fit to do this hike with the group.
