Mount Sparrowhawk S5 (Easy Scramble)
I am looking at taking a group of scramblers up Mount Sparrowhawk the Spray Lakes Area of Kananaskis.
Sparrowhawk is one of the higher peaks in the region, and the he views should be spectacular.
This is an easy scramble, so you won't need to use hands often, but you should be comfortable walking on loose rock, uneven terrain, and scree. Poles will likely be useful.
This is NOT A SLOW PACE TRIP. As there is significant elevation gain, above average fitness is required.
There will be an automatic waiting list for the event. PLEASE ANSWER THE RSVP QUESTION TO BE PLACED ON THE GO LIST. If you can't post or get the question, let me know.
This event is not appropriate for beginner hikers.
