Lillian and Galatea Lakes (Winter Hike T4)
The trail begins at the Galatea parking lot and follows the banks of Galatea Creek up the valley to Lillian Lake. We skirt along the South side of Mount Kid and we'll be crossing several bridges including a suspension bridge. If we still have the energy we might go on to Galatea Lakes but will be dependent on conditions then, as it is fairly rugged in the winter months.
Lillian Lake is a 12.4 km hike (round trip) with an elevation gain of 492m---Galatea Lake is an additional 4km and 183m elevation. Excpect to be on the trail 5 to 6 hrs.
