He works with large multi-million dollar companies as well as small ‘Main Street’ businesses in many different industries. Tom works with clients who are willing to abandon mediocrity and build an uncommon business! He speaks on attitude, business, marketing & leadership.

Someday: It's Closer Than You Think

Quick Look
We all have good intentions, right? Each of us set big goals and say things that start with, “Someday.”
"Someday, I’ll pay off my debt.”
“Someday, I’ll lose weight.”
“Someday, I want to build that house in the woods.”
Or, spend more time with my family, or find a job I love, etc.

How many of us actually reach our ‘someday’? In this presentation, I share how to get focused and create the momentum needed in order to reach your ’someday’. Will you be one of the few who know how far they were made to go?

Presentation Outline
Sharing examples from his time spent with Top CEO's, his own experience as well as other relevant examples, Tom will show you how reaching your ’someday’ usually comes down to four consistent actions:

1. Hit One Nail. Getting what you want starts with being clear on exactly that. Too often, people jump from one shiny thing to another instead of staying the course and training themselves to finish.

2. Tick Tock, You’re on the Clock. Contrary to popular opinion, there is enough time in the day.  People who reach their ‘somedays’ are simply more disciplined than those who don’t. They make sure that the highest impact activities get their best.

3. Pink Slips. Reaching your goals will mean that you’re implementing the right actions consistently. What if you’re not consistently implementing? Chances are, you’re afraid of something. In order to win we must put our fears on notice and hand out the pink slips. When you fire your fears you’ll be able to give your best energy to the things that need to be done.

4. Uncommon Effort. Many say they want something, but few get after it. Great accomplishments are always preceded by those who are willing to do massive amounts of the right work.

I will close out with a challenge to focus & work in ways that are uncommon. Attendees will walk away with tangible ways to take the next steps toward their goals. It will be clear to them that if they truly want to reach their ‘someday’, it all depends on taking ownership. Finally, they’ll see that ‘someday’ is not too far away when they consistently work on these four areas.

Target Audience
For small business owners, leaders and entrepreneurs who want practical and relevant help that will help them grow personally and professionally. This talk has been delivered to many different types of groups: chambers of commerce, administrative associations, executive recruiters, contractors, students and publishers.

Program Design
This MOTORtalk program can be given as a keynote speech or workshop, both in person and online. The ideal program length is 45 minutes for a keynote. Workshops are normally half-day or full-day in length.

Program Goals
Attendees will learn that they have control over the outcomes in their lives.
Attendees will walk away with a firm commitment to get focused and take control of their time.
Finally, attendees will be inspired to work in uncommon ways by identifying what they want, going toe to toe with their fears and putting forth massive effort.
