Giving Circle of Hope - Hungry Kids Initiative

Giving Circle of Hope(Reston) will be having a special food drive on Saturday, January 18, at the Fox Mill Giant store and will need lots of helping hands. There will be a Fastran bus in the parking lot, and our mission will be to “Stuff the Bus” with HHK donations. They will be at the store from 9:30 to 5:00 handing out fliers and collecting food and will then transport it to the Altum offices for sorting and counting. If you can help at either location for an hour or two, it would be wonderful. Please contact Sandy, at [masked], to let her know what time you are available to help with this special effort.

They are having a special event at Fox Mill Giant -- Stuff the Bus 2014. Sponsored by Fairfax County and other partners, Stuff the Bus is an annual event to benefit local area food programs, and HHK is one of the recipients. Same food drive, longer day, and we'll have a bus in the parking lot to fill with our food donations! The goal is to stuff the bus, or collect about a ton of food. We've had great results with this event over the last two years and are excited to be participating again.
We definitely need your help this month, as the drive is all day and we'll need a full cadre of volunteers to make it successful. The shifts are listed below; just let me know which one you'd like to cover. Ideally we would like to have 4-5 volunteers per shift, to hand out fliers and help load the bus. Thanks in advance for your time. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or email.
