Every 1st Thursday of the month Snow organizes a lecture on an IT-related topic. The lecture starts at 4 p.m. and lasts approximately one hour. Afterwards it’s time for chats, snacks and drinks!

NGINX is a high‑performance, highly scalable, highly available web server, reverse proxy server, and web accelerator (combining the features of an HTTP load balancer, content cache, and more). It started as an open source project written by Igor Sysoev, a Russian engineer. It is used worldwide by clients, such as MemberCentral, Buzzfeed and Adobe. The open source web server (NGINX Open Source) currently powers 400 million websites! Another valuable NGINX product is NGINX Unit. NGINX Unit is a multi-language, dynamic application server, which highly programmable and can be used as the foundation for your service mesh.

Leif Beaton, an extremely experienced Senior Technical Solution Architect at NGINX, will deliver a technical lecture on NGINX Unit. He will not only dive into the technical details of NGINX Unit, but also the added value for customers will be discussed.
