Cardio Tennis Community Class!
Our Community Cardio Tennis class is designed for players in the community not only to play tennis and get a fabulous workout, but to meet and network with fellow athletes in the community! Designed for professionals and business owners like yourself to promote your platform and share with other like minded athletes in the area. It is a super fun one hour workout with fast footwork, a few drills and fun competitive points are all part of the program! Rotational points played out in doubles format are fun and competitive in every game! Gotta try it out if you've never experienced the way Elite Racquet Sports does it! AND its set in a beautiful private 5 star resort by the marina, not at a public park. Easy to find and available metered parking. Community Classes are only $15 offered to community residents only with zip codes within Marina del Rey, Venice, Culver City, Playa Del Rey, and Playa Vista area. You must register and rsvp because spots are limited and you can't just show up and expect to play. It's easy to sign-up, just email [masked] and they'll get you set up! Sorry, RSVPing on this listing doesn't guarantee a spot, and drop-ins are not allowed. If you haven't joined us before, you must complete a registration tennis liability release form and secure your rsvp with a credit card. You will not be charged unless you participate in the class. This is a community and network group of tennis fanatics...

Meeting, connecting and playing with other tennis members is what we're about. From social, leisure to competitive tennis, this group supports it all. Looking to grow a strong club of positive tennis attitudes to promote more tennis playing and ultimate fun... No cost to join, just a healthy, fun attitude promoting the sport and game of tennis is required. Please list your playing level in your profile and if you post an event or meet up, make sure you provide details, skill levels and update as needed. Skill Levels:

1.0: This player is Just starting to play tennis.

1.5: Has limited experience and is still working primarily on getting the ball into play.

2.0: Has obvious stroke weaknesses but is familiar with basic positions for singles and doubles play.

2.5: Can sustain a short rally of slow pace with other players of the same ability.

3.0: Fairly consistent when hitting medium-paced shots, but is not comfortable with all strokes and lacks execution when trying for directional control, depth or power.

3.5: Has achieved improved stroke dependability with directional control on moderate shots, but still lacks depth and variety. Starting to exhibit more aggressive net play.

4.0: Has dependable strokes, including directional control and depth on both forehand and backhand sides on moderate shots, plus the ability to use lobs, overheads, approach shots and volleys with some success.

4.5:Starting to master the use of power and spins and beginning to handle pace, has sound footwork, can control depth of shots and is beginning to vary game plan according to opponents.

5.0: Has good shot anticipation and frequently has an outstanding shot or exceptional consistency around which a game may be structured.

5.5: Can vary strategies and styles of play in a competitive situation and hit dependable shots in a stress situation.

6.0: has obtained a sectional and /or national ranking.

6.5: has extensive satellite tournament experience.

7.0: makes his living from tournament prize money.
