Dear Jeanne ...
I am so sorry. I always enjoyed Bob's company and am saddened by your loss. We will all miss his vibrancy and cheerful presence. I am forwarding your message to our Sigma Xi gang. Unfortunately, I'll be in a meeting tomorrow that overlaps the memorial service.
Please always remember that you are a treasured member of the OC Sigma Xi family and we hope to see you from time to time. You have so many great friends and admirers of Bob who had known and worked with him in years past.
With sympathy,

Dear Stan,

I don't know whether or not you saw Bob's obituary in the
L.A. Times or not.  He suffered a massive hemorrage of an aneurism
In his forehead on Sept. 15Th, and passed away peacefully on Sept.
17th, surrounded
by his loving family.  It was very sudden and very unexpected, and I am
still in shock.  We had such a blessed life together.

He always enjoyed the Sigma XI meetings, but had not been able to
attend any
lately, because of declining health.

His Memorial Service is this Saturday, November 3rd at 2:00 p.m. In
St.Mark Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach on the corner of MacArthur
and San Joaquin Road.

I will greatly appreciate your sending out emails to our members, even
though it is late.

Thank you, Stan.

Take Care,

Jeanne Case

Don't forget to send your reservation requests early to John Pinson.
Ken Shea does remarkable research. You'll enjoy his guided tour through
new territory.
