This group is for anyone interested in learning time lapse photography. What is time lapse photography? Time lapse is sequence of images blended into video to show movement or the passing of time.
What makes a good time lapse subject? Clouds, fog, shadows from the sun, sunrise, sunset, stars, moonrise, moonset, lunar eclipse, tides, moving people, vehicles, boats, & aircraft, amusement parks, fast growing plants, construction, and anything else that moves.
Where to shoot time lapse videos? Just about anywhere. The beach, the desert, the city, indoors, in your backyard.
Do I need an expensive camera to create time lapse videos? No, most cameras that have an integrated intervelometer, a cable remote, or infra red remote should work. Cameras with manual exposure and focus modes will work best.
This group is open to time lapsers of all skill levels. Together we will learn and share our experiences on equipment, camera settings, post processing and solutions to common problems.
