From Sin City, and Road To Perdition in film, to Marvel's Agents of Shield and AMC's Comic Book Men —not to mention the thousands of comic book titles published yearly— the comic book art form has influenced our culture considerably. 

On Thursday March 20, 2014 MCA-I presents an impressive panel of experts/enthusiasts to celebrate and discuss the current popularity of comic books and all things related! If you are working in the Media Industry or just love comic books don't miss this special event. Seating is limited and you MUST RSVP online. Jon Bogdanove internationally known artist and writer. As one of the chief architects of the record-breaking epic The Death of Superman, Jon Bogdanove is best known for his long run as penciler and occasional writer on DC’s Superman: The Man of Steel (most issues between #1-#85) where his dynamic, dramatic, sometimes humorous work brought to life many landmark Superman stories, including some of the best-selling comics of all time.



Marcelo Lewin, Internet entrepreneur as well as Creator and Chief Obsessor of IndieComicsTracker.com the website that lets you discover indie comics from all over the world written in various languages, track your collection and get notified when new issues are out. You'll love meeting The Indie Comics Dude. 


Victor Phan, Filmmaker, Screenwriter, Comics & Graphic Novel Artist and co-founder of Torture Chamber Productions http://www.tcpcomics.com  Phan works on assignment for studios and production companies as writer and illustrator, as well as producer and writer of his own independent projects. He also serves as a professor at Fullerton College and on the board of Orange County Screenwriters Association.

This special MCA-I Event is being held at Orange County Digital Media Center in Anaheim. http://www.ocdmc.com The OCDMC is located within the Anaheim campus for the North Orange County Community College District along with its School of Continuing Education/TDI. Look for the highrise office building with North Orange County Community College District sign on the top. It is between the Euclid Ave exit of the 91 fwy and the W. La Palma exit of the I-5 fwy.
