Cocktails and Wine at Rustic, Hidden Restaurant.

First and foremost, this place can be a little hard to find. There is a sign on the corner of Harbor and Wilshire, but it is not on that corner. From the corner, walk about 200 ft west of Harbor and then make a right. Walk towards the back of the building, and you will see a stairwell on your left hand side going down.  I will hangout for the first hour to make sure you find it. Text me if you can't[masked]-0030. But after the first hour, I will not have any reception while I am downstairs.

A truly historic restaurant, Elizabeth Taylor was proposed there (2nd husband) and John Wayne used to be a regular with his own booth.

The atmosphere is truly unique.  A classy restaurant with a truly rustic, old world feel that I cannot imagine anywhere else in the OC.  You really do feel like you are in a speakeasy during the prohibition days, or maybe a GI on leave in Paris during WWI.  The cocktails are TO DIE FOR.  A true mixologist on staff, you will not be disappointed.

Parking is plentiful.  Villa Del Sol has its own parking lot, and there is a public parking structure right next to it.  Also plenty of parking on the street.

Good conversations, cocktails, wine, and appetizers start at 7:00PM.

Below are a list of their great cocktail and late night menu.

I have lived in Orange County for many years and have always wanted to experience this restaurant. Thank you for planning a meet up here! See you tomorrow evening.
