We will walk into the park from the meeting spot and make our way over to the dam, where we'll explore and little bit and take pictures. We'll continue down into the spillway below the damn, which WILL include down climbing and some bushwacking. Don't RSVP if getting close to No Trespassing territory bothers you. Once down, we'll explore and hike the canyon around until we get to the gas pipeline that crosses over the top of the canyon where we'll climb up and head back to the cars. There will be a lot of exploring and trailblazing. This is NOT a trail hike.
The spillway and canyon look really awesome. Lots of interesting stuff to explore.

Maybe it would be a trip for another time, but underneath the pipeline are some rock walls with climbing routes on them. Might be fun to play around on if the gear is brought.

You can bring your gear if you're feeling squirrely! I'm sure Ian will be down for some climbing..
