I believe that everyone has the ability to overcome challenges that hinder their quality of life and create an amazing, meaningful, and fulfilling life for themselves. This group is for anyone with social anxiety and depression looking to meet other people also struggling with these issues. Creating this group is definitely out of my comfort zone, but I know that it could help those who are feeling isolated, lonely, and depressed. In this group we will do a lot of things. First and foremost though, I want it to be a support group that is able to discuss the challenges when it comes to social anxiety and depression, and ways to improve and overcome these issues. I want us to develop meaningful relationships with each other. I also want to be able to relax and have fun! As a group, we will do a lot of things such as watching movies, listening (and playing) music and sports, attending sports events, going to the mall, hiking, and anything else we want to do as a group.
