A restaurant inspired by one of the rock formations we saw last summer on the Thompson River rafting weekend! (see story below)

Bread baked fresh on-premises and guacamole made right at the table? And ribs? And a whole page of fancy cocktails? Sounds like it's worth a try...

"We are often asked “What is the Frogstone Grill ‘like’?” That’s a tough one. We are not like anyone else. We are one of a handful of restaurants that make our bread fresh every day. We are the only ones that make fresh guacamole right at your table. Our recipes are simple, yet have flavors that are indescribable – and addictive. Like our ribs. They are just ordinary ribs until we rub them with our homemade spices and put them in a Texas slow-smoker for 5 hours with cherry wood. Wow.

From pastas, to burgers, to steaks and weekend breakfasts, our passion is creating flavors and combinations that you cannot get anywhere else. 250,000 customers a year agree that The Frogstone Grill is unlike anywhere else. You just have to try it for yourself.

Todd and Shari Pratt
Todd and Shari had a friend who worked for a white-water rafting company at one time. He would often take them down the Thompson River, and after running the river for several summers they got to know the different areas of the river, including one of the rock formations called “the frog”.

It is an enormous stone, named by the natives hundreds of years ago, that looks like a giant frog sitting in the stream with the water rolling around its legs. Todd and Shari wanted to create a restaurant that was just as unique and stable as this frog-shaped rock. A place that was a great experience every time you visited, from the unique flavors and combinations, to the friendly staff and atmosphere.

Out of this inspiration, the Frogstone Grill was born. As a result, you cannot find food like the Frogstone’s anywhere else. The recipes are all unique, as are the sauces and wonderful combinations.

Please note additional "event fee"/donation of a loonie per person, to help cover the meetup web site costs (a 1-month term as organizer costs me $19, and while I am willing to foot the bill, I would like to offset some of the cost). You can pay this in advance via PayPal if you would like.
