PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LOCATION AND TIME HAVE CHANGED FOR THIS FILM IF YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED IN ATTENDING. IT IS NOW GOING TO BE AT STATION SQUARE METROTOWN AND WE WILL BE MEETING AT 12:00 NOON.
I love Dame Judi Dench, and if I weren't taking an all-day first aid certification on Sunday, I'd totally be at this movie, too! Thanks to Jan for hosting this event.
Let's meet at the entrance to the theatre by 12:30PM for the 12:50pm showing. Jan will wait outside the theatre doors for 15 minutes so we can try and get seats together.
A group of British retirees decide to "outsource" their retirement to less expensive and seemingly exotic India. Enticed by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel and bolstered with visions of a life of leisure, they arrive to find the palace a shell of its former self. Though the new environment is less luxurious than imagined, they are forever transformed by their shared experiences, discovering that life and love can begin again when you let go of the past.
