Well I've settled on a location for this event and yes it is Metro-Friendly.
Location: AMC Courthouse 8 (Nearest Metro is the Courthouse Metro Station on the Orange Line)
Showtime: 5:10pm (Probably won't change, but keep checking for updates just in case.)
I will be arriving at the theatre @ 4:30 and I will be waiting outside until 4:50 across from the ticket boothes. At 4:50 we will head inside to get seats. I will be the short one with brown hair and glasses, wearing a black jacket. I will also be wearing a MeetUp pin.
After the movie lets head over to Ireland's Four Courts 2051 Wilson Blvd. We should get there between 7:45 and 8pm, plenty of time to hang out and have dinner and drinks.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.
By popular demand I'm adding this as an event. It really looks like a great movie. Will Smith is one of my favorite actors and in this movie he gets to play opposite of his own son.
This event is still in the planning stages so stay tuned for updates.
Chris Gardner is a bright and talented, but marginally employed salesman. Struggling to make ends meet, Gardner finds himself and his five-year-old son evicted from their San Francisco apartment with nowhere to go. When Gardner lands an internship at a prestigious stock brokerage firm, he and his son endure many hardships, including living in shelters, in pursuit of his dream of a better life for the two of them.
