Relaxing night with Tai Chi & Tea Ceremony/Incense Demonstration

Want to relax, doing Tai Chi and becoming a Chinese Tea tasting expert?  Try our Combination of Tai Chi and Tea Ceremony/Incense Demonstration!

Tai Chi-7-8pm

Following Sifu Huan, and doing the first 13 movements of Yang Style Tai Chi. Huan is the 6th generation of Yang Style Tai Chi. He is also the author of the book "Seeing Beyond the Tai Chi Footprint". You have seen his articles featured in the international Tai Chi Magazine. He studied under 3 Grandmasters from Yang family. David Watts will start the warm up and then give instructions of detailed Tai Chi movements.

Incense Demonstration 8:00- 8:20pm

Sifu Huan will close the class with a Chinese Incense demonstration. He will create a Chinese character with incense powders using unique tools . The audience will be able to enjoy the fragrances of  incense and see the process within a beautiful ceramic cup.  

Tea Tasting- 8:20pm-9pm

Huan will then do a tea tea-tasting ceremony. He will present few top quality tea from China and is looking forward to sharing both the tea itself and the knowledge about the tea. Tea is limited, so this is a rare opportunity. We hope you will be able to join this special occasion to learn more about Tai Chi and Chinese tea!

* We will do tea tasting (not tea drinking), so you will not drink a lot of tea to keep you awake. You will have little tea to relax you and help you rest later.

Huan's Tai Chi, 7 Temple Street, Cambridge (direct entrance into our studio is inside the YWCA building near Central Square T Station)

Fee: $10 for Tai Chi class, $10 for Incense Demonstration, Tea Ceremony is FREE come with the Incense Demonstration or Tai Chi class,  $15 for class+Incense.

      @fatima. Yes, it does cost us for buy materials such as incense and tea and pay rent & insurance for the place for the hour, so we are only just asking a very minimal /reasonable contribution to help this event happen.
