Not many people know, but the well-respected director and actor Norman Issa, who is also known as Amjad from the sitcom “Arab Labor” and as the leading actor in the award-winning play “Alone In Berlin”, is also a social entrepreneur, a singer in the band Pshutei Ha'Rehov, and most importantly, one of the funniest people in town.

In Socialize Salon’s content show, which is premiering nationally, Norman Issa will share with us his personal stories from his childhood in Wadi Nisnas in Haifa, his move to the big city and current life in Jaffa.
The content show will combine singing and acting and share funny behind-the-scenes moments.
The session includes a panel discussion in which Norman will talk about his social entrepreneurship, and the vision and founding of Elmina Theater together with his wife, playwright and actress Gidona Raz.

At the end of the show, the host Keren Litani will have a panel deiscusio with Norman Issa and his wife Gidona Raz (a playwright and actress) about their social entrepreneurship: Elmina, a multicultural theater. Together they work towards and inspire bridging and raising awareness on the importance of coexistence through art and theater.
Zohar Levkovitz - the funniest entrepreneur and venture capitalist in the nation industry - will also join us on stage. Together we’ll talk about technological entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship as a state of mind and as an opportunity for social mobility.
In 2012, at 41 years of age, Zohar Levkovitz sold Amobee to a Singaporean company for 340 million dollars; maybe that’s the reason he’s always so joyful and kind-hearted. Keren Litani first met him 3 years ago at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem for Shimon Peres’ birthday celebration and couldn’t stop laughing. About a month ago, he was pulled over by police in Silicon Valley for talking on a plastic phone to Walt Disney’s Sofia.
Zohar is regularly invited to the World Economic Forum in Davos, there he also received the Technology Pioneer Award. During the same forum, Bill Clinton invited him on stage and presented Amobee’s contribution to restoring Haiti post-earthquake. He’s been an activist in Green Peace for over 20 years and he is also an active member in J Street.
