A Journey into Children’s Books - with Illustrator/Author, Jill Calder
A Journey into Children’s Books - with Illustrator/Author, Jill Calder Jill will give an illustrated talk about her work and process, in particular how she found herself shifting from commercial illustration into children’s books. She’ll focus on various key projects and, of course, discuss the books she's illustrated, including her latest book 'The Picture Atlas', 'Robert the Bruce, King of Scots' and 'Walk the Walk’, plus a peek at her new book, 'The Sea’. Here's your chance to ask her if illustrating children’s books is the best thing ever... As part of this evening event, there will be an exclusive chance to look through some of Jill's sketchbooks and original drawings. Suitable for illustrators and picture book enthusiasts, alike!
