Nicole Gravagna, founder of Alternatives in Science Club, graduated with a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from University of Colorado in 2011 and an MS in Molecular Biology from University of Maryland in 2003. Since then, she has devoted her time to understanding the flow of dollars into Research and Development through grant funding and private capital. As the Director of Operations for the Rockies Venture Club, Nicole helps small life science companies secure the money needed to develop drugs, medical devices, medical software, and diagnostics tools. Nicole is currently co-authoring Venture Capital for Dummies through Wiley Publishing Company, which will be in stores by Sept 1, 2013.
