Talks and Notes
###############
During this session we will put our Hands on some pieces of Azure, some of IoT and some of Network to come up with a small but cool use case demonstrating the abilities of these technologies.
We share our experience from this showcase with you and ask you to share your experience and challenges from your projects with everyone.
So in the end we will have learned a lot from you and you from us.

LoRaWAN
#########
Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN) is a low-power wireless network protocol. The LoRaWAN specification is defined by the LoRa Alliance. It is freely available and uses a proprietary and patented transmission method, based on a Chirp Spread Spectrum modulation technique, called "LoRa" by Semtech Corporation.[1] Basic modules are available as open source software.[2]
LoRaWAN is asymmetrical and designed for energy efficiency for ranges over 10 km for uplink communication, i.e. sending from the terminal device to the network. The data transmission rate ranges from 292 bit/s to 50 kbit/s.

Azure IoT Edge
##############
Azure IoT Edge moves cloud analytics and custom business logic to devices so that your organization can focus on business insights instead of data management. Scale out your IoT solution by packaging your business logic into standard containers, then you can deploy those containers to any of your devices and monitor it all from the cloud.
Azure IoT Edge is made up of three components:

IoT Edge modules are containers that run Azure services, third-party services, or your own code. Modules are deployed to IoT Edge devices and execute locally on those devices.
The IoT Edge runtime runs on each IoT Edge device and manages the modules deployed to each device.
A cloud-based interface enables you to remotely monitor and manage IoT Edge devices.

We are looking forward to a interactive Session with you.
