Leadership Team - Recruitment for Organisers/Assistant Organisers
Hey New Yorkers! Thanks for joining this exciting dynamic, and unique Travel MeetUp Group. Crazy, I know, but I am based in London, U.K... so, I will be looking for people to help out as part of The Leadership Team. We will start with local MeetUp's in cafes, bars, restaurants, etc. in New York to get-to-know each other, and at every one of these MeetUp's I will be accessible, for a certain time at least, by Skype.. so we need to find places with good WiFi Internet Connection, and someone with a Laptop/Projector Screen where I can be with you virtually, from 'across the pond'. Please Message me if you would like to be part of the exciting Leadership Team that will span worldwide, i.e. Co-Organisers, Assistant Organisers, and/or Event Organisers? Feel Free to message me and RSVP here if you are interested in being part of The Leadership Team. Looking forward to hearing from you, Craig

    What we're about

Do you love to travel but your friends, family and partners don't have the time? If yes, then our small group trips are perfect for you. If you have a passion for travel and would love to meet like-minded fun and vibrant individuals, then this is the group for you!

We organise small group trips (6 - 8 people) throughout the year to far flung places, places less explored, and routes less well trodden.

This MeetUp Group is run in collaboration with the following MeetUp Groups around the world so you have the opportunity to meet fellow exciting travellers from different countries:

    The London uDare MeetUp Group:

The Berlin Solo Travellers MeetUp Group: https://www.meetup.com/Solo-Travellers-Group-International-Adventures/

We will start with local MeetUp's in cafes, bars, restaurants, etc. to get-to-know each other. I will need to be guided by you guys to let me know exactly what places, i.e. restaurants, cafes, bars, colleges, venues, etc., would be good for our MeetUps.

Ideally, each venue should be somewhere central so easily accessible to most people with good transport links. Each venue must have WiFi, & someone must have access to a laptop/iPad, & possibly a Projector Screen, etc. so I can be involved with the MeetUp, even if its just for 10mins.

Also, if we can choose places that aren't too loud then all the better otherwise I guess we might not be able to hear one another via Skype/Facetime, etc. It'll be great to get to know you all, even if it's virtually, etc. from 'across the pond'.

I want to make it a platform for you guys to make of it what you want. I will guide things in a certain direction especially as I am an experienced traveller myself, & I plan to organise some awesomely diverse trips to suit different ages, abilities, & interests.

Also, as the weeks go on I plan to open more sister MeetUp Groups in the U.S so people in different cities can connect, Skype, MeetUp, & plan future travel together.

Ultimately, this is your platform for anything travel related so feel free to suggest MeetUps and/or post up MeetUps on this group yourself. It's your platform. If you post up a trip on the MeetUp Group it is bound to attract interest. I will also post your travel plans/MeetUps/events, etc. up on the other MeetUp Groups to attract further interest. With time, you will swap contacts, become friends, Skype/Facetime/WhatsApp one another, possibly meet each other in person, & finally plan a trip together. I can possibly try to help you guys piece together the itinerary, & possibly cost it up if you prefer to have elements of the trip booked/confirmed.

From adventurous European adventures such as dog sledging in Scandinavia, hiking in Scotland, surfing in France, and exploring the rural communities in Spain, to the more exotic adventures such as mountain gorilla and chimpanzee trekking in Africa's Uganda & Rwanda, wildlife watching in Gabon, Tanzania, and Kenya, wildlife guiding courses in Botswana & South Africa, to hiking, cultural and scenic expeditions to Latin America's Costa Rica, Peru, & Ecuador, etc... and much, much more! Leave work behind you and join likeminded travellers for extraordinary travel experiences to off the beaten track destinations. From the cities to the coasts, the jungles and the rainforests, the mountains and the savannah, and the outback and the deserts. Whether your interest lies with the traditional peoples and the local cuisine, or the exotic wildlife, and the most staggering scenery this is the group for you.

Share the travel experience and meet lots of new friends along the way!
