Day of Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in Graton, CA When wildfires ravaged Sonoma and Napa Counties in October of 2017, the Jewish community throughout the region deployed volunteers to support our North Bay neighbors. This spring, our Jewish Communities are invited to return for a day of service, building homes with Habitat for Humanity. The staggering loss of homes, many in fragile neighborhoods, will forever link Habitat For Humanity’s mission of affordable housing for all, to wildfire/disaster recovery. Join us for a meaningful day of giving back. Register to volunteer on one or more of the three dates below: Sunday, April 28 Sunday, June 2 Sunday, October 27 Time: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm A delicious box lunch and beverage will be provided to all participants. Click here to register:https://jewishfed.org/news/events/raise-roof-habitat-humanity-0 Construction volunteers work alongside Habitat’s construction team and partner families to help build Habitat houses. How do we get the waters of redemption flowing? In our traditional Exodus story, it was five radical women – a mother, a daughter, two midwives and a princess – who stirred the waters. With talk, song and symbolism, we will lean into the ways we make change – through resistance, generosity, creativity and courage – using these five women as our touchstones. The evening will be thought-provoking, laughter-filled, and suitable for all genders and all generations. A delicious catered dinner (vegetarian plus fish) will be served. We can't wait to see you there. Cost: variable. Click for more information. Or Please contact Vicki or call at (707)[masked],
