You asked for it, you got it! A moderately paced hike with interpretation light sponsored by Jack London Park - free of charge (except for a $10 Vehicle entry fee).

If you have hiked with us before at JLP, you know that we want you to have a good time, so each hike is accompanied by volunteer hike sweeps who can guide you back to the parking lot at anytime. We gather together at all trail crossings to talk about what's around us before forging on.

We will gain most of our elevation walking up the Mountain Trail then head out along the incomparable Upper Fallen Bridge Trail and out to the Historic Orchard area. This moderate, 5.5 mile hike will offer a work-out through a variety of habitats.

Bring your hiking poles, if you have them, plenty of water, snacks and most importantly wear sturdy shoes. It is suggested that you dress in layers so you’re comfortable no matter the temperature.

Meet in the ranch (upper) parking lot on the right as you enter the park.
