THIRSTY THURSDAY New Member Social for Sonoma County Women's Wine Club

This is our NEW regular club meeting, held on the last Thursday of every month and we are super excited! Come join us at 4th Street Cellars in downtown Santa Rosa. They have generously offered to host our new monthly THIRSTY THURSDAY social for us.

If you are new to the area, or just looking to get out of the house and make new friends, this is the place for you. Welcoming to ALL new and (ahem, old) members.

Wine is purchased by the glass for a set fee with the variety of wines offered through 4th Street Cellars. Fees are paid directly to Co-organizer Daima Phipps via cash, venmo or paypal and you are welcome to purchase wine after the tasting if you choose.

There is no food offered, but they are open to people bringing their own or ordering takeout from nearby restaurants (of which there are many types within walking distance: American, British, Thai, Italian, Mexican, Jewish, French, etc).

We will have time to socialize while tasting in the room up stairs to the left. 25 person attendee limit, guests are welcome! Please RSVP below only if you are able to make it.

See you there, ready to kickoff!

Take a Wine Trip with Region in Sebastopol

Needs a location

Welcome to Fall in Sonoma County! I have booked an intimate group tasting at Region in Sebastopol in the Barlow. If you haven't been there yet, it is amazing! They do things a little differently here, with a wall of wine that automatically dispenses tastings. Their specialty is highlighting the various regions of Sonoma County.

There are glasses of wine or tasting pours that you can individually purchase, from the wall of wines. Fees are paid directly to the tasting room depending on what you order. There is no food offered, but they are open to people ordering takeout from nearby restaurants- they have 3 restaurant menus for you to order from - The Farmer's Wife, Acre Pizza and Kosho Sushi.

We will have time to socialize while tasting. 8 person attendee limit, no guests. Please RSVP below only if you are able to make it, final headcount is 5 days before.

See you there, ready to explore!

Au Naturel Wine Tasting and Cheese Pairing at Barber Cellars

Needs a location

Barber Cellars is a family winery dedicated to hand crafted, high quality wines made from their small, organically farmed vineyards. The Barbers’ style of wine is more elegant and spice driven with brighter acidity and lower alcohol. Their goal is to create new world wines with old world sensibilities: food friendly wines of elegance and complexity that honestly showcase the differences of individual terroirs and individual vintages with fruit from small lots of their organic vineyards. Located in the historic Hotel Petaluma, their tasting room was the first downtown tasting room in Petaluma.

The wine and cheese pairing will be around $35 per person, and we require a $5 nonrefundable fee (paid to co-organizer Daima P. to secure your spot via Paypal or Venmo). The $5 fee will be given as a tip to for the tasting room. You are welcome to purchase wine if you choose, the tasting fee is waived with wine purchase.

We will have time to socialize before and after the tasting. 20 spots available, guests are welcome! Please RSVP below only if you are able to make it, as Dai will follow up with the $5 non-refundable fee to solidify your spot.
