Description: Many executives are uncomfortable in the role of business development, especially when it comes the first few minutes of the conversation. Karl will share a few tactics that release the pressure that you and the prospect may feel when engaging in an initial conversation.

Bio: Market Sense is an authorized Sandler Training Center that was opened in Austin, TX by Karl in 2004. Since then, over 40 Market Sense clients have been formally awarded for outstanding revenue growth, like the INC 500 list, for example.

In 2015 Karl was awarded the David H. Sandler award for his outstanding contribution to the Sandler network and in 2016 Karl wrote a best-selling business book titled “Succeed the Sandler Way”, a narrative of Austin area professionals who grew their business and transformed personal lives by applying the Sandler principles.

Karl currently teaches sales at the Acton School for Entrepreneurship and he is a member of the Austin YPO (Young President's Organization) Chapter.
