Announcing a new Meetup for South Bay Mountain Bike Group!

What: Rancho Canada del Oro Open Space Preserve

When: Sunday, May 2,[masked]:30 PM

Rancho Ca?ada del Oro OSP
Casa Loma Road
San Jose, CA 95037

We will meet at 3:30 PM in the parking lot at Rancho Canada. This should be a fun place to ride, we have not been to this park yet. It is only about three years old. Lets explore this new park. Total ride distance should be around 8.5 miles. Lets get a good Sunday late afternoon ride in.
Tires will roll at 3:45 PM or when all "YES" RSVP's are present.

You have read the past ride reviews and seen the pictures, this is a fun group!!! As always, we will never leave anyone behind, take needed breaks, and regroup often.

*Please remember to have your bike ready to ride when you arrive.*

From highway 101 or 85 south, exit at Bailey Ave and turn west/right. Drive on Bailey Ave to the stop sign and turn left onto McKean Road. Turn right onto Casa Loma Road, follow to the end and you will be at the parking lot. Note: Drive pass the Calero County Park, this is not where you are going.

If your not sure where you are going or think you will be late, please leave earlier. We want you to join us. Allow yourself an hour to get there from the Palo Alto/Sunnyvale area.

Ride Details
Difficulty as noted in my Mtn Biking guide book is: "Moderate with a few modest climbs". On my scale of 1 -5, 1 being easy - I will say this may be a 2-3.

Rain 48 hours before the ride will cancel. Check here for updates.

***Please remember, a helmet is required for all our rides.***
